Settings Page

The Settings page in the AI assistants section offers various options to help you manage your knowledge sources, regardless of whether they’re currently assigned to an AI Assistant or not. This page is organized into three tabs: Vectors, File Manager, and Knowledge Sources.

Let’s start with the Knowledge Sources tab, as it influences both the File Manager, and Vectors tabs.

Knowledge Sources Tab

In this tab, you can add URLs as knowledge sources to be used in vectors. It’s where you manage all the URLs from your websites or blogs. When you click the “Add New” button, a popup window will appear showing three types of URLs you can add:

  • URLs: Add individual or multiple URLs.
  • Sitemap URL: Add the sitemap URL of your website or blog.
  • YouTube URL: Add the URL of a YouTube video.

File Manager Tab

The File Manager tab displays all files you’ve added directly via the “Add File” button or attached through the internal chat interface.

Every time you add a file, including documents and images from the internal chat interface, those files will appear here. It’s a good idea to review this section regularly to keep your files organized and up-to-date.

Files added here can be used as knowledge source, making your AI Assistant more unique. Along with URL knowledge sources, you can manually add these files to a vector via the Vectors tab.

Vectors Tab

In the Vectors tab, you’ll find all the vectors available for any AI Assistant you wish to create.

On your LeadsWithDemos site, a vector is a structured collection of custom knowledge. This collection can consist of added knowledge sources (URLs), and files that your AI Assistants use to provide relevant responses and maximize their performance. Essentially, vectors are the primary knowledge base you assign to your AI Assistant.

You can think of vectors as containers of knowledge that can be assigned to an AI Assistant, while files and URLs are the contents added to each vector.

Key Points About Vectors

  • Purpose: Vectors serve as knowledge base for your AI Assistants. By referencing vectors, the assistants can offer accurate, contextually relevant information based on user queries.
  • Integration: Create and manage vectors on your LeadsWithDemos site to customize the sources of information your AI can access and enhance the responses delivered.
  • Usage: When you create or update a vector, your AI Assistant gains access to its content, enabling more informed responses and a better user experience.

Vectors let you create different knowledge sets for various topics and assign the most relevant knowledge base to each AI Assistant. This allows you to tailor assistants for specialized tasks or subject areas.
