How to Install the Tracking Code

At this point, I’ll assume that you have created your LeadsWithDemos account and set up a LeadsWithDemos site from which you will retrieve the LeadsWithDemos Script Code. Additionally, you may have a testing environment ready to place the code in.

For this tutorial, I will use a WordPress testing website. To install the LeadsWithDemos tracking code on your website, please follow these steps:

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1: Access Your LeadsWithDemos Site

Step 2: Access the Tracking Script

  • Locate and click the “Tracking” tab.

  • Click the “LWD Script Code” button. A popup window will appear containing the tracking code.

Step 3: Copy the Code

  • In the popup window, click on the tracking code to copy it.

  • This code is essential for capturing behavioral data, such as form submissions and user interactions.

Step 4: Integrate the Code

  • Insert the copied tracking script into your website’s HTML.
  • The script must be placed before the closing tag on every webpage where you want to track and capture emails.
  • If you’re using the website testing environment, follow these steps:
  • Log in to the backend of your testing environment.

  • Navigate to Divi > Theme Options.

  • Within Divi Theme Options, go to the Integration tab and locate the section labeled “Add code to theof your blog”.

  • Click “Save Changes” to apply the changes.

By following these steps, you’ll effectively integrate the LeadsWithDemos tracking code, enabling popups and starting the process of capturing emails. If you need additional assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out for support!
