Ask a Question Page
The “Ask a Question” page is your primary space for interacting with and testing your Assistant’s chat features.
Use this page to verify that the AI assistant provides accurate information based on your assigned custom knowledge. It’s also an excellent place for brainstorming and exploring new ideas, allowing you to take full advantage of the AI assistant’s expertise.
Please note: the “Ask a Question” page is intended for your own testing, brainstorming, and review of the AI assistant’s knowledge. In contrast, the “Embedded AI” page serves as the interface that your users, visitors, or subscribers will interact with.
The main functionalities available on this page include:
Internal Chat Interface
The chat interface is designed for seamless interaction with the AI assistant. It enables you to ask questions and receive prompt responses, making it an essential tool for testing the AI assistant’s performance in providing users with information from the knowledge.
This interface is structured for single-conversation interactions, meaning that conversations will not be stored for future reference. Each time you refresh the page, a new conversation will begin.
If you prefer not to reload the page for a fresh start, you can simply click on the Clear Chat option.
Optionally, the chat interface can be used for brainstorming as well as for internal knowledge transfer. The key features include:
Messaging Functionality
You will be able to send and receive messages through a simple chat format, allowing for clear communication with the AI assistant.
Clear Chat Option
The interface includes a feature that enables you to clear the chat history if you wish to start a new conversation without the context of previous exchanges. To see the “Clear Chat” option, you need to initiate a conversation with the AI Assistant.
Image Support
This functionality allows you to upload images within the chat. By incorporating this feature, the AI assistant can respond more effectively to visual queries, enabling you to provide relevant visual context or examples when asking questions.
Document Attachement Support
This functionality allows you to attach documents within the chat. By utilizing this feature, the AI assistant can respond more effectively to your queries, providing relevant information and context directly from the files you upload.
For better outcomes when asking questions based on the attached document, please ensure you select “Force File Search” and then “File Search” at the Run button.
Web Search
The Web Search feature allows you to quickly find up-to-date information from the internet without leaving the platform. By selecting this option, you can supplement your custom knowledge with the latest data, relevant articles, and public resources.
Deep Research
The Deep research feature enables you to perform a thorough analysis across all your uploaded documents and custom knowledge sources. When you select this option, the AI assistant dives deeper to find detailed, context-rich answers that may not be immediately visible through standard searches.
Run Button
The “Run” button allows you to send or submit your questions with ease. Next to the Run button, you will find an arrow that enables you to activate “Force File Search” and subsequently perform a “File Search.”
This “Force File Search” functionality is what sets your AI assistant apart, and tailors it to your specific needs. It provides you with unique answers based on the assigned custom knowledge.
If unchecked, the AI assistant may decide whether or not to utilize the provided knowledge to generate a response, which could result in more generic answers.
