Add Tracking Snippet Button

This feature allows you to incorporate new tracking snippets into your LeadsWithDemos site. It’s designed for seamless integration of various tracking tools to enhance your analytics capabilities.

Upon clicking the “Add Tracking Snippet” button in the tracking tab, a popup window appears, presenting you with a dropdown list to choose the type of tracking pixel you wish to add. This includes:

Google Analytics

Selecting this option requires your Google Analytics 4 measurement ID. Google Analytics is crucial for detailed analytics regarding user interactions on your site or landing pages. By choosing this and clicking ‘Add Tracking’, you need to enter your Google Analytics 4 measurement ID, found within your Google Analytics account. This ID is vital for integrating your site with Google Analytics, enabling the tracking of visitor behavior, traffic sources, and other essential metrics.

Google Tag Manager

This option will prompt you to enter your Google Tag Manager container ID. Google Tag Manager is a flexible tool for managing and deploying marketing tags (code snippets or tracking pixels) on your website without altering the actual site code. When selecting Google Tag Manager and clicking ‘Add Tracking’, you are required to provide your container ID, which is found in your Google Tag Manager account. The container ID is your unique identifier in Google Tag Manager, facilitating the management and deployment of a variety of marketing and analytics tags.

Custom Tracking Snippet

If you opt for adding a custom tracking code, you will need to assign a unique name to your snippet and decide where to place it (in the header, footer, or both), based on your specific tracking needs. This degree of customization is significant for ensuring your tracking code is executed properly and captures the desired data. Upon selecting this option, make sure to enter all necessary details and click ‘Add Tracking’ to complete the setup process.
