Leads Syncing

Importing Leads via the Sync Method

Seamlessly import leads from your preferred email automation services, including MailChimp, ActiveCampaign, ConstantContact, and more. This integration streamlines the process of bringing your existing lead data into LeadsWithDemos.

Email Automation Audience List

When selecting the Sync method to import your leads, a popup window will appear for you to select the audience list that you would like to import from your email automation service. If you do not see any email list, it means that you need to go to integrations within LeadsWithDemos to integrate your first email automation audience list.

If you do have an audience list already integrated, then you would be able to select it.

Auto Sync

This On and Off toggle allows you to import leads automatically whenever there is a new lead in your email automation audience list. If you prefer to import only the existing leads from your audience list and not the new leads, you can simply leave it off.

Please note that this feature allows you to import leads from your email marketing service to your LeadsWithDemos site for lead management and LeadsWithDemos audience creation. However, it won’t give access to your CMS product demo copy unless you assign them via actions in bulk

If your desire is to import leads from your email marketing service into your LeadsWithDemos site and automatically assign a CMS product demo copy, you can create a LeadsWithDemos campaign using email automation services as a source.

Mapping Fields

Upon selecting the desired audience list from your email automation service, you’ll be presented with a mapping option. This feature allows you to match the fields from your email automation service’s data to the corresponding fields in LeadsWithDemos, ensuring accurate data transfer.

Mapping Table

The mapping table consists of four columns, each serving a distinct purpose:

Column 1 (Field Name)

This column identifies the name of the field to be mapped. It corresponds to the field name in your email automation service.

Column 2 (Mapped)

Indicates whether or not the field has been successfully mapped to a LeadsWithDemos field.

Column 3 (LeadsWithDemos Fields)

This column displays the existing LeadsWithDemos fields that you can map to the email automation service’s field name from Column 1. Select the appropriate LeadsWithDemos field for each email automation service field to ensure accurate data mapping.

Column 4 (Overwrite if info exists)

Allows you to overwrite existing lead information with the imported data by selecting the ‘Overwrite if info exists’ checkbox. This option is useful for updating outdated or inaccurate lead data.

Add a custom field

If your email automation service’s audience list contains fields that are not currently available in your LeadsWithDemos’ site, you can create new custom fields to accommodate these unique data points. This flexibility ensures that you can capture and manage all relevant lead information without limitations.

Note: If you need to create custom fields for the imported data, you can do so directly from the “Map Your Leads” window or from Leads > Settings > Custom Fields > Add Custom Fields. Once created, you can select the newly created custom fields from the dropdown list in the LeadsWithDemos Fields column during the mapping process.

Additional information for this process

Ready to import status

Indicates that you have sufficient leads available within your LeadsWithDemos site to accommodate the import. If the number of leads in your site is insufficient, you will see the following message: “Increase the number of leads before importing”.

Validating Mapping

Before initiating the import process, ensure that the fields are correctly mapped by checking for any warnings or error messages in the Mapped column. This validation step helps prevent data inconsistencies and ensures a smooth import process.

Once you’re satisfied with the mapping, click the “Continue” button to initiate the import process. Upon completion, you’ll receive a summary of the import, including the number of new records, updated records, and any potential issues. This summary allows you to review the import results and identify any areas that may require further attention.
