Landing Page Method

Landing Page Method

When opting to capture high-quality leads via landing pages, you can select from your custom-made landing pages that contain the forms designated for lead capture.

Note: If you don’t find your desired landing page listed, ensure that it is marked as a “Landing page” in the system. This can be done by navigating to Site > Pages > Site pages tab > Options and then selecting Set as Landing Page.

This method enables you to efficiently capture leads through a custom LeadsWithDemos landing page. Once a lead is captured, it will be automatically stored in your LeadsWithDemos site’s database for streamlined management. You can then create an audience list based on the actions and behaviors of your leads. This audience list can be synchronized with your preferred email automation service, such as MailChimp, Constant Contact, Active Campaign, and others, facilitating seamless integration and targeted marketing efforts.

Defining Actions After Lead Capture on a Landing Page

Once you’ve selected the landing page for lead capture, the next step is to define the actions that will occur after a lead is successfully captured. These actions include:

Sandbox Demo Access

You can choose from a list of CMS sandbox or CMS product demos available on your LeadsWithDemos site. Select the demo that you want the system to replicate when a lead submits the form in your campaign.

Action After Form Submission

This step allows you to create a customized experience for your leads. The options include:

Send Leads to a Landing Page

Direct leads to a custom LeadsWithDemos landing page after form submission. This could be a LeadsWithDemos custom ‘thank you’ page, which is ideal for tracking conversions.

Send Leads to the CMS Sandbox Demo Copy Back-End

Redirect leads to the back-end of their unique CMS product demo copy.

Send Leads to the CMS Sandbox Demo Copy Front-End

Direct leads to the front-end of their CMS product demo copy.

Send Leads to a Custom URL

Choose to redirect leads to any URL you specify. This could be your website or a specific promotional page.

Send Leads to a Specific Section of the CMS Sandbox Demo URL

Guide leads to a particular section within the CMS product demo copy, enhancing their user experience by focusing on a specific feature or aspect of your product.

Defining Leads Email Validation Strategies

In this step, you will determine strategies to verify the validity of email addresses provided by your leads. This process is crucial for ensuring the quality of the email addresses captured. The strategies include:

Send a Transactional Email with Sandbox Details

You have the option to toggle this feature on or off. If enabled, the system will utilize the active transactional email from the “Access Request Lead” category to send the CSM product demo copy details. Ensure that you have the correct email enabled for this category, as only one email per category can be sent.

Reject Disposable Emails

This toggle option allows you to automatically reject email addresses from temporary email providers.

Correct Typos in Email Address

Enabling this option helps in automatically correcting common typos in email addresses, thus enhancing data accuracy.

Reject Emails from Free Services

Toggle this option to decline email addresses from free email services, if needed for your campaign’s strategy.

Reject Role-Based Emails

This feature, when toggled on, prevents the acceptance of emails associated with generic roles (like admin@, support@) rather than individual users.

Mapping Your Landing Page Form Fields with LeadsWithDemos Internal Fields

This process is essential for ensuring the data from your landing page form aligns correctly with LeadsWithDemos’ internal fields, thus enhancing lead data accuracy.

Map Your Leads

A mapping option will be provided, enabling you to align your landing page’s form fields with corresponding fields in LeadsWithDemos. This step is crucial for collecting comprehensive lead information. The mapping table is organized into four columns:

Column 1 (Field Name)

Lists the names of your form fields from the landing page.

Column 2 (Mapped)

Shows the mapping status of each field.

Column 3 (LeadsWithDemos Fields)

Displays the available LeadsWithDemos fields for mapping. Select the corresponding field to ensure accurate data alignment.

Column 4 (Overwrite if info exists)

Provides an option to overwrite existing lead data with new submissions, keeping your lead information current.

Adding Custom Fields

If your form includes unique fields not present in LeadsWithDemos, you can create new custom fields directly from the “Map Your Leads” section or via ‘Leads’ > ‘Settings’ > ‘Custom Fields’ > ‘Add Custom Fields‘. This ensures you capture all necessary lead data.

Additional Information:

OK Status

Indicates the availability of sufficient lead capacity in your LeadsWithDemos account. If leads are insufficient, you’ll see a prompt to “Increase the number of leads”.

Validating Mapping

Always verify that the fields are correctly mapped to avoid any discrepancies in lead data. Once mapping is confirmed and validated, click “Publish” to finalize your campaign setup.

Important notes

  • LeadsWithDemos prevents duplicate leads.
  • Each lead is allowed only one Active, Expiring, or Deleting copy of the same CMS product demo.
  • If a lead requests access to a CMS product demo with one of these statuses (Active, Expiring or Deleting), they will be redirected based on the action-after-submission setup defined during the campaign process.
  • In cases where a lead requests access to an expired CMS product demo copy, the system will generate a new copy, adhering to the expiration time settings of the sandbox.
  • Additionally, LeadsWithDemos keeps track of the number of copies each lead has requested, regardless of whether they are for different or the same CMS product demos.
