Create a Popup or Form in LeadsWithDemos
Learn how to open a LeadsWithDemos site workspace and create a Popup Box, Sticky Banner, Slide-In, or Embedded asset from Starter design or Blank canvas.
Short Answer
In the LeadsWithDemos app, open your site workspace, go to Site > Popup & Forms, and select Add new popup. Choose a type and either Starter design or Blank canvas, enter the popup name and description, then select Create.
Before You Start
You need a LeadsWithDemos account, access to an existing site, and permission to create popups and forms.
A LeadsWithDemos site is the management workspace inside your account. It is separate from the public website your visitors see.
Steps
- Sign in to LeadsWithDemos and go to My sites.
- Find the site where you want to create the popup or form and select its card. The site workspace opens in a new browser tab. If needed, see Open a site from My sites.
- In the site sidebar, under Site, select Popup & Forms.
- Select Add new popup.
- Choose one of the four types: Popup Box, Sticky Banner, Slide-In, or Embedded. Choose carefully because the type cannot be changed after creation.
- Choose a starting point. Starter design provides a ready-made layout with a lead form and is selected by default. Blank canvas starts with an empty section.
- Enter the Popup name and Popup description.
- Select Create and wait for LeadsWithDemos to finish creating the asset.
When Creation Is Successful
The popup or form has been created when LeadsWithDemos saves it. It should then appear in the correct site’s Popup & Forms list and reopen when you select Design. These are verification checks, not steps you need to repeat after every creation.
Important Notes
- Creating an asset does not publish or display it on your public website.
- Designing the asset and configuring its display rules are separate workflows.
- If LeadsWithDemos shows the design editor next, creation is already complete. Any design changes you make there belong to the separate Design workflow.
- If creation fails, your entries remain available for review. LeadsWithDemos does not retry the creation automatically.
