How to Delete Popup and Form Assets in LeadsWithDemos
Learn how to delete a popup, sticky banner, slide-in, or embedded form asset in LeadsWithDemos, including what to check when deletion is blocked.
Short Answer
Delete a popup/form asset from the selected site's Popup & Forms area by opening the asset options menu and choosing Delete. LeadsWithDemos asks for confirmation before removing the asset, and deletion is blocked when the asset is used by an active popup campaign.
Before You Start
You must be signed in, have access to the selected site, and have permission to delete popup/form assets.
The asset must already exist. If you still need to create it, first create a popup or form asset.
Deletion is a destructive action. Before continuing, confirm that you selected the correct popup, sticky banner, slide-in, or embedded form asset. If the asset is still needed for a campaign, review that campaign before trying to delete the asset.
Steps
- Go to My sites, open the site you want to work on, then select Popup & Forms in the site area.
- Find the popup/form asset you want to delete. You can use the type filters or search if the list has many assets.
- If you are unsure whether it is the right asset, review it first. You can open the asset, check its design, or review its display rules before deleting it.
- Open the asset options menu.
- Choose Delete.
- Review the confirmation message. Continue only when you are sure the asset should be removed.
- Choose Continue to confirm deletion.
- Return to Popup & Forms and confirm the asset is no longer listed.
Important Notes
If LeadsWithDemos blocks deletion because the asset is used by an active popup campaign, the asset stays available. Resolve the campaign relationship first, then retry deletion only when the asset is no longer needed by that active campaign.
Deleting a popup/form asset does not create, launch, activate, or deactivate a campaign. Campaign setup and campaign status are separate workflows.
The same delete process applies to popup boxes, sticky banners, slide-ins, and embedded forms. Their design and settings can vary by type, but the asset-list delete action uses the same confirmation flow.
Do not treat deletion as easy to undo. If you may need the asset later, duplicate or review it before deleting.
